It is our privilege to be able to make you look and feel your utmost beautiful during this landmark moment in your life. Having the perfect makeup is just as important as having the perfect dress. After all, your face is the focal point in all your pictures, and you will have these pictures forever.

::INFO:: We specialize in creating a natural-looking GORGEOUS face. "Natural-looking" in our studio entails utilizing Renee's meticulous makeup techniques to achieve a natural look, without making the makeup feel heavy or making it look as if you're wearing caked-on makeup. Our brides have been said to look absolutely "radiant, dewy," and have a certain "glow" to them. All the makeup is sweat, tear, weather-proof, and you will be provided with a touch-up kit to ensure your makeup looks beautiful throughout the day. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality of makeup service that is only available to celebrities and models, but is tailored to you.

:: SERVICES:: *We have on-site travel services, or you can come to the studio if
that works for you on your wedding day. *We have several packages to choose
from, and we would love to discuss special accommodations. *We recommend holding a trial to discuss your ideas and get a preview of your wedding day look, but it is not required. *Brides in Santa Barbara and San Diego, we can make special arrangements alternative to the full travel fee so please inquire for more details. I Love MAC, but ladies, this isn't your local MAC counter! *You will get personalized, tailored step-by-step application as well as insider tips, secrets and information for long-lasting, quick application that is specialized for YOUR unique face. *The sessions are unlimited in time so you can learn in a relaxed environment and enjoy yourself. *You will receive a personalized facial analysis and follow-up instructions.

Asian Women: If you want to simplify your eye makeup routine from the same old liquid liner, if you have trouble putting on eyeshadow or blush, or don't know how to handle those brows, I'll show you how. :)

"Since I hadn't had a makeup lesson since my 12th birthday - in 1985, I thought it was time. I specifically wanted to figure out the mystery of correct eyeshadow application, and how to keep eyeliner actually on my eyes.

Renee gave me exactly what I was looking for and more. Over the course of three hours in her studio, she reviewed my current makeup regime, rejected it, and showed me how it is really done. I expected to take some notes, but Renee gave me a pen and paper and continually repeated "write that down" over and over again. ASIAN MAKEUP

Renee modeled in high school before attending UC Berkeley, and was shocked at the lack of knowledge and skill the makeup artists had when it came to applying makeup to her Asian features. Renee always had a love for makeup and for working with people. Cliche as it is, she was the friend doing everyone else's makeup for prom, enjoying it so much she had to rush through her own makeup in just minutes. So naturally, after graduating, Renee attended Makeup Designory in Burbank Ca. and became a certified professional makeup artist.

Renee streamlined her passion for beautifying women by opening up her own studio in early 2008. She continues to strive to address the lack of resources available for the Asian-American woman. Renee has collaborated with 13 Minutes Magazine as a Beauty Editor, a nationally syndicated Bi-Cultural Magazine, has written an article for Mei Magazine, a publication for Asian adoptees, and has volunteered her services in various Asian non-profit fundraisers. Asian women will find that Beauty Makeup Studio is a haven where a professional truly understands the nuances of the Asian face, and is skilled in bringing out your unique beauty.

Renee has been a freelance makeup artist in the industry for years and has worked at renowned salons in Beverly Hills and a headshot studio voted #1 in Los Angeles by Backstage West Magazine, and has also worked on celebrities, music videos, commercials, film, numerous photoshoots and fashion shows, including LA Fashion Week and has collaborated with various organizations for charitable causes. Renee has worked with designers and labels such as Louis Verdad, Eduardo Lucero, Jeffrey Sebelia, Lotta Stensson, Sha Dang, Cosa Nostra, Bohemian Society, among others.

Duwop co-founder Cristina Bartolucci has referred to Renee as a "gem of a find," as many others have recognized that Renee's signature look comes from her keen ability to distinguish and showcase one's natural beauty. Renee is experienced with all ethnicities and age groups and is known for her keen eye, attention to detail, and producing an overall undeniably beautiful face.
